Joseph R. Christiano, III, age 21, of Bethel, CT passed at his home on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.
Born in Danbury, CT on July 21, 1992 Joe graduated Newtown High School in 2010 and attended Naugatuck Community College where he was pursuing a career in Computer Science.
Joe is survived by his parents Florence M. (Pokorny) Christiano of Bethel, Joseph R. Christiano, Jr. of Newtown; younger sister Melissa Christiano of Bethel; paternal grandfather Joseph R. Christiano, Sr.; uncles Scott Christiano, Tony, Joe & Frank Pokorny and many cousins.
A Yankee fan, fisherman and sports enthusiast he earned a Junior Black Belt in karate at the age of 12 and supported his soccer team as a defender and goalie for many years. With his infectious smile, Joey will be best remembered as a happy, loving kid, devoted son and brother.
