Joseph P. Marucci, 66 of Clarksburg, West Virginia and formerly of California, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 in St. Lukes Hospice House in Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Patrick and Doris (Barthel) Marucci. Joe was a 1964 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and a graduate of San Diego State University. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Joe was a forensic examiner, specializing in finger print analysis for Police Departments and the Military for 40 years. More recently he taught Criminology at Golden West College in Orange County, California. Joe was a karaoke aficionado, a professional jokester and a great golf partner, who fulfilled almost all of his “bucket list”. Survivors: are his children, Jonah Miller and Nicola Miller both of California; a granddaughter Lucinda Dobroski; a sister, Marie A. Good of Bethlehem and brothers, John T. Marucci of Allentown and James M. Marucci of Whitehall.
