Joseph was born on July 10, 1944, in Plaine Du Nord, Haiti, to his mother Iviana Delva and his father Entoine Metellus. Joseph left Haiti in 2003, after his parents and wife died, he came to America; leaving his 7 kids: 4 girls and 3 boys.  To help his family in Haiti, he spent 19 years working hard, especially for his kids in Haiti.  Grandpa wasn’t really a go out guy but, he was still fun to be around but, I loved how he was focused on his work and after working hard all his life, he finally retired at the age of 65, he didn’t like sitting at home like that, since leaving Haiti. He liked to work hard but, because of his health he had to stay home, even though his kid’s lived kind of far from him, they still come to see him, cooked for him, spend the day with him, and make sure he was okay. From an early age, Grandpa taught his children how to survive life’s challenges.  Grandpa was the best especially, when he called to make sure you were okay, and he had a lot of patience with people.  He did a lot of bad jobs to make sure his kids and his grandkids came into America. Thank you, God for giving Grandpa courage and health to work and make sure I have this education and life here in America.  On April 13, 2022, Grandpa was called home to be with the Lord.

SHARING THE MEMORIES OF HIS WONDERFUL LIFE ARE:
