Joseph L. Koch, 104, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020 while in the care of Country Meadows Nursing Home, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Katherine (Schaller) Koch. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Clara (Schuner) Koch. Joe worked as the Superintendent of the Combustion Department of the Bethlehem Steel until retiring. He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Joe was a proud volunteer at Good Shepherd for over 30 years, making him one of their longest volunteers. He was an avid golfer.
Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Joseph Koch and his wife Charlene of Bethlehem and James Koch of Virginia; grandchildren Daniel, Jennifer, Nicolas and Dominique and his loving great grandchildren Devon, Joseph, Ellie, Julian and Henry. He was preceded in death by his siblings Dick Koch and William Koch.
