Joseph L. Agrusti Jr, 72, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on June 1, 2021.
Joseph was born to the late Joseph and Stella Colucci Agrusti in Paterson, New Jersey. He remained in New Jersey until moving to Florida in 2017. Prior to retirement, Joseph worked for Verizon in many capacities, finishing his career there as the Labor Relations Director.
Joseph was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hiking, bicycling, kayaking, camping, and picnics. Joseph also loved to travel, play his guitar, and sing. He had a beautiful smile and an even more wonderful spirit. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Joanne.
He was the loving father of Laura Agrusti and her husband Christopher Pettine, and Carolyn Morrisette and her husband Jonathan; beloved life partner of Diane Wions; adored grandfather of Ethan and Abigail Morrisette; dear brother of Richard Agrusti and his wife Julie; and cherished uncle of Richard and Matthew Agrusti. Joseph is also survived by his devoted four-legged best buddy, Otis.
