Joseph “Joe” Lukasik, II, 33 of Benton, formerly of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015.Joe was born October 23, 1981 in Centralia, son of Joseph Lukasik, Sr. and Nancy (Johannes) Lukasik. He married Sherri D. Martin in December of 2014 and she survives in Benton.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is also survived by two sons: Taylor Lukasik of Mt. Vernon and Frank Lukasik of Benton; a sister, Jennifer McNealy and husband Joshua of Creve Coeur, MO; two nephews: Vincent McNealy and Adam McNealy both of Creve Coeur, MO; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Frank and Regina Lukasik and Osgood and Bessie Johannes. Joe was the owner of Midsouth Builders in Benton. In grade school he was in the Boy Scouts. While in high school, he played in the CHS Marching Showcase and he also played baseball for the Centralia Recreation Complex. Joe enjoyed playing his guitar with friends and collecting guitars. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
