Joseph James Donnelly, age 43, of Norwalk, died at his home after a long illness on Thursday, July 8. Joe was born in Stamford on January 1, 1967. He was a graduate of Brien McMahon High School and also attended culinary school. Joe was working as a glazer for the Horizon Glass Company. He was a member of the Ferris Hill Club and was an avid baseball and softball player in town for many years. He was also a drummer and an excellent chef. Joe was a wonderful uncle, brother and son and will be missed by all who knew him.
Joe is survived by his fiance Jennifer Haisley, his mother Elsie Conklin, his brother Scott Donnelly and his fiance Mercy, all of Norwalk, his sisters Valerie Romanello and her husband James, Sandra Conklin and her companion Roberto, all of Stamford, and Carolyn Hatzi and her husband Bobby of Bethel, his nephews and niece Dimitri, Alex, Nicholas, Jake, R.J. and Sarah, the Garvey family and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
