Joseph J. Puzycki Sr., 89, of West Haven, devoted husband of 69 years to Virginia J. Burke Puzycki passed away on Saturday May 21, 2011 at Ct Hospice in Branford. Loving father of Sharon Puzycki Krystock, Joanne Puzycki (Louis) DaRienzo, Janice Puzycki (James Dietz), Joseph (Joan) Puzycki Jr., Laurie Puzycki (Thomas) Mansfield and the late Ronald Puzycki. Brother of Edward Puzycki and the late Stanley Puzycki. Grandfather of Richard Sederquest Jr., Debra Sederquest Myjak, Kerry Puzycki Giggliotti, Megan Puzycki, Thomas Mansfield IV, Katelyn Mansfield and Christina Puzycki. Great grandfather of Kyle, Brian, Stephen, Samantha, Casey, Callie, Rachael, Sophia and Dominic. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joseph was the son of the late John and Anna Jablonski Puzycki and was predeceased by his son-in-law James Krystock. Joseph was a graduate of Commercial High School in New Haven and was a WWII Veteran who served in the U.S. Army in the 538th Ordnance Company from 1942 to 1945. He worked for Armstrong Rubber Company, Sealtest Dairy, Various car dealerships and was a custodian for the West Haven School system at Seth Haley School until his retirement and later was a driver for the Ct School for the Blind. Joseph was an avid Boston Red Sox and UCONN mens and womens Basketball fan.
