Joseph Henry Vondenhoff, age 90, of Milford, died on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, in Bridgeport Hospital. He was born on January 11, 1917, in New York City to the late August and Gertrude Hammer Vondenhoff. He served proudly in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. Before retiring, he was employed by Trio Industries in Shelton as a metal fabricator. Mr. Vondenhoff is survived by his devoted daughters JoAnn Stec and her husband Raymond of Surprise, AZ and Carol Harker and her husband Jeffrey of Milford, grandchildren Eric Smith and his wife Leah of Orange and Amy Woodard and her husband Glenn of Stratham, NH and 5 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife Catherine R. Vondenhoff and sister Madeline Lynchard.
