Joseph E. Quail, Jr., 93, of Holiday City West section of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Friday, January 30, 2015, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Newark, NJ, Joseph grew up in Elizabeth, NJ, and lived in Green Brook, NJ, and Claremont, FL before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 2003.

Joseph was the owner of Jim’s Diner in Newark, NJ. He then owned and operated the Somerset Snack Shop in North Plainfield for 7 years and the Brookside Restaurant in New Brunswick, NJ for 21 years.

Joseph was predeceased by his wife Estelle C. (nee Leguteau), He is survived by his 2 daughters Jacqueline Bowman of Toms River and Dr. Tracey Davidoff and her husband Dr. Jack Davidoff of Pittsford, NY, a brother Bernard Quail and his wife Marilyn of Bridgewater, NJ, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
