Joseph D. Chiavaroli, aged 82 years of Wilmington, DE and formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 30, on December 29, 1935 in Shamokin, PA – he was the son of the late Sabatino and Christina ( nee Evangelista ) Chiavaroli. He received his formal education in Trevorton, PA. Joe had proudly served his country in the United States Army, and he had worked as a CAD Designer, in the Computer Software industry. Joe enjoyed playing chess and golf, and he was a Member of the Delaware Vets / Post # 1 in Wilmington, DE. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Helena M. ( nee Maher ) Chiavaroli, and he is survived by his loving children Michael P. Chiavaroli ( wife Tanya ), Theresa H. Kivlin ( husband John ), Mary A. Chiavaroli, Sandra M. Chiavaroli and David A. Chiavaroli, his 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, as well as his brother Michael Chiavaroli, and his sisters Anna Koshinski, Jean Woll and Amelia Stark. Loving companion of 28 years to Shirley S. ( nee Smith ) Roberts.
