JOSEPH ARTHUR HARPOLD Entered into eternal rest with his wife by his side on Friday, December 22, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Jane Anne Harpold for 51 years, loving father to Leslie Anne Harpold and Stephen Joseph Harpold, and loving grandfather to Sarah-Jane Hailey. He was a decorated Eagle Scout in high school, voluntarily joined the U.S. Army in college where he served as a Lieutenant and Military Police Officer and performed one year of active duty in Korea. After college, he served as a police officer for the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department and then joined the FBI from where he retired as a Supervisory Special Agent after 29 years of service.
