Joseph Adam Kerrigan, 54 of Monroe, NC died September 7, 2016.
He was born in Red Bank and lived in Middletown and Highlands, NJ for many years before moving to Monroe, NC.
Joe graduated Mater Dei High School in New Monmouth, NJ and Wesley College in Dover, DE. He moved on to Sun Chemical in New Jersey and North Carolina where he worked as a colorist for 33 years. He enjoyed travel, motorcycles, sports, and just “hanging with his buddies”. He was a communicant of St. Luke’s Church.
Surviving are his son, Joseph and daughter, Lydia of Monroe, NC; sister, Joan Sanders, husband Russ of Havana, FL; and brother, Andrew Kerrigan of Hazlet, NJ; along with many nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Helen Kerrigan; brothers James and John of Middletown, NJ and sister Ann Belcher of Inverness, FL.
