Josefina “Josie” Ramirez Jurado, 80, a Deming resident passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the Silver City Care Center.
Josefina “Josie” was born February 16, 1938, to Eugenia Ramirez and Jose Jurado at Mesilla Park, New Mexico. She worked for Deming Electronics for many years before retiring. Josefina loved to crochet and read. She was a communicant of Saint Ann’s Catholic Church where she was very active in Church work for many years.
She is survived by siblings, Marcelina Beer of Larned, Kansas, Emilio Jurado and wife Delia, Socorro Jurado and wife Margaret all of Deming; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Preceded in death by parents, Jose and Eugenia Jurado; siblings, Doroteo, Isabel, Joe, Rafael, and Adelaida Jurado.
