Obituary of Jose Villarreal

VILLARREAL, Jose “Pepe” of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Luther Manor with his family by his side. He was 72 years old. Jose C. Villarreal was born on May 16, 1941 in Rio Rico Tamaulipas, Mexico to the late Eleuterio and Amelia (Cuellar) Villarreal. He married Yolanda Ledesma on February 14, 1989 in Saginaw; she survives him. Jose was a former General Motors employee and a member of the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially on family vacations. He loved eating Mexican food and watching T.V. But he loved his family the most—including their dog, Cha Cha.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 24 years, Yolanda of Saginaw; a son and a daughter: Mary Lou Reynoso and Rodolfo Olvera of Houston, TX and Fabian Villarreal of Saginaw; two grandchildren: Enrique Reynoso of West Lafayette, IN and Ana Lisa (Christopher) Ramon of Houston, TX; a great-grandson, Carlos Xavier Ramon; four brothers and seven sisters: Eleuterio Villarreal of Caldwell, ID, Santos Zamora of Saginaw, Maria Zamora of Akron, Francisca (Jesus) Hernandez of Edinburg, TX, Evangelina Flores of Edinburg, TX, Francisco (Maria) Villarreal of Saginaw, Manuel Villarreal of Edinburg, TX, Noemi Villarreal of Saginaw, Dora Alicia (Jose) Hernandez of Mission, TX, Minerva (Eduardo) Garcia of Saginaw, and Juan Villarreal and Josie Enriquez of Saginaw; four sisters-in-law: Esmeralda (John) Barrera of Saginaw, Delia (Jose) Delgado of Saginaw, Sophie (Nick) Amador of Kalamazoo, and Sylvia Ledesma of Saginaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jose “Pepito” Villarreal; brother-in-law, Martin Ledesma, and father- and mother-in-law: Martin and Josephine Ledesma.
