Jose Silva, age 68 of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 17, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Julie (Miranda) Silva of Plymouth. He was the cherished father of Antonio and Sara Silva of Plymouth and Joe Silva of New Bedford. He was the brother of Alberto Silva of Brockton, Isabelle Silva of France, Raquel and Vera Silva of Florida. Jose was born on August 30, 1950 in Praia, Cape Verde to Antonio and Ana (Barbosa) Silva. He was a dedicated fan of the Portuguese soccer team, Porto. Jose was a talented musician, recorded two CD’s and was well known throughout the Cape Verde community.
