Jonathan Mercado, 41, of Emmaus, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Rebekah (Doyle) Mercado with whom he shared over 15 years of loving marriage. Born on May 27, 1981 in Bronx, NY he was a son of Peter Mercado and Regina Gangemi.
Jonathan worked as a foreman for the New York electrical union local 3. He was also an entrepreneur, starting his own business designing lacrosse heads. Jonathan was an active member of Coronerstone Christian Church, Easton. He enjoyed playing handball, basketball and liked to dance. Above all his family was truly everything to him, every decision made was in best efforts for them.
Survivors: Jonathan will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rebekah; sons, Javien Mercado 14, Asher Mercado 12, and Declan Mercado 4; mother and stepfather, Regina, and Vincent Gangemi; father, Peter Mercado; brothers, Peter Mercado, and Valentene Gangemi.
