Johnny Paul Walker, 81, of Niceville, Florida, ascended to his heavenly reward on Wednesday, April 02, 2014. He was born August 26, 1932 in Walker County Georgia. Johnny retired after serving in the U. S. Army and Air Force for twenty three years.
After retiring, Johnny enjoyed traveling with his wife and they had many adventures. They especially loved going to Cades Cove, Tennessee.
Johnny was an avid gardener, never met a stranger, always had a story to tell, and was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Walker is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Janice Sue Walker and his parents, Francis Sarah Pitts and Paul James Walker. He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Marie Walker, of Niceville and son, Johnny P. Walker, Jr. and his wife, Pat of Washington, North Carolina; granddaughters Melissa Morlock and her husband Tom; Katherine Alligood and her husband William, of Washington, North Carolina and dear friends for over 50 years, Frank and Nancy Cornwell.
