He was kind and enjoyed bringing happiness to all those around him. He was a great athlete and enjoyed playing baseball and golf. John was a good friend who always saw the best in everyone. His most cherished moments came from the time he spent with his family that he loved unconditionally. John is predeceased by his father Charlie E. Knipp, mother Jeanne Cagle Knipp, step father Jack Post, brothers Eddie and Chuck Knipp, nephew Michael Knipp, and mother-in-law Lilia Barrientos. He is survived by the love of his life Irene Richardson, his son Justin Knipp, daughters Kristian Simental and Brittany Wemhoff, nephews Chuck and David Knipp, Justin Rodriguez, Victor Orona II, Joseph Armendariz, Christian Armendariz, Joseph Barrientos, nieces Stephanie Knipp, Candace Rodriguez, Jade Rodriguez, Josephine Barrientos, Bella Armendariz, grandchildren Addie and Colter Knipp, and Nikolas Wemhoff, father-in-law George Barrientos, sisters-in-law Mary Armendariz, Lillian Barrientos, Marty Barrientos, and Laurie Knipp, brothers-in-law Joe Barrientos and Tavo Armendariz.
