Johnathan Jay Hildebrand, affectionately known as ‘Jaybo’, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, April 10, 2021. He was 51 years old.
Jay was born July 10, 1969 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado to Jack & Harriet Hildebrand, the youngest of three brothers, Dave Hildebrand of Colorado, Glen Hildebrand of Arkansas, and Troy (Scott) Hildebrand of Des Moines plus sister, Robbin Hildebrand-Gowen of Arkansas. Son, Marton Jay Hildebrand, other family, friends, nieces, and nephews survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Harriet.
Jay lived with his son, Marton, and faithful dog, Zeus, in Ankeny. Together, they enjoyed time with friends and family as well as helping folks they’ve known or recently befriended. He was a jokester, making people laugh, or at least putting a smile on their face.
Jaybo loved to get on his Harley, fire it up, ride with his buddies, feeling the wind in his face. That was when he wasn’t making deliveries for SKOL Trucking.
