WINSTED –WARNER – John William Warner, Sr., 72, of Winsted died on Wednesday, August 15th 2007 at his home. He was born on May 30, 1935 in Winsted; son of the late Joseph L. and Lena M. (Coon) Warner. After serving in the United States Air Force, John worked for the Karentine Company for 35 years and retired from the Market Company. Mr. Warner is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Ann (Lemelin) Warner; son, John Warner and his wife Cyndy of Halfmoon, NY and daughter, Amber Pelletier and her husband Eric of Winsted; three grandsons, Garrett and Devon Warner and Eric Pellitier, Jr.; a brother, Robert (and Connie) Warner of Barkhamsted; two sisters, Joan Lancey of New Market, NH and Irene (and Art) Gray of Unionville, CT; and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by a brother, James Warner. The family would like to thank Dr. Roy Hitt, Jr. and the staff along with Dr. Gerald Kruger, Dr. Elizabeth Whalen and staff at the Center for Cancer Care for all their kindness and support.
