Mr. Johnny Wilfred Murphy, age 63, passed away at his residence following a long illness. He was born in Chandler, OK on February 27, 1951, and was the son of the late Williams A. Murphy, Sr., and Dorothy Colbentz Murphy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William A. Murphy, Jr, and a sister Doretta J. Cerne. He is survived by his brother Hugh (and Linda) Crume, sister, Patricia (Don) Childers and his younger brother J. C. Murphy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Johnny’s career was in the Civil Service in Logistics. He also served eight years in The United States Army 82nd Airborne Division out of Fort Bragg, NC.
