John W. Phillips, 76, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday September 7, 2013 in Signature Health and Rehabilitation Center in Terre Haute. John was born March 1, 1937 in Terre Haute to Claude and Odessa Henley Phillips. John had spent many years employed with CSX Railroad and was a member of the Retired Railroad Signalmen Association, as well as being a member of the Terre Haute Elks Lodge. John was also a member of the German Oberlandler Club where he had served as a past president many times. John enjoyed golfing, bowling and especially traveling.
