John W. Dine, 61, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 at his home in Morgantown. He was born on June 25, 1953 in Franklin, Indiana to Morris K. and Dorothy Dine.
John was a mechanic, E.M.T. and a volunteer Deputy Sheriff for Morgan County. He was also employed with the Brown County Parks, State Highway Department and as a Limestone cutter. John enjoyed karaoke, fishing, hunting and fixing boats. He loved his dogs, Penny and Aggie.
Survivors includes his wife, Anne (Alexander) Dine of Morgantown; mother, Dorothy (Ellett) Dine of Trafalgar, daughter, Kelly Ann Sebastian of Martinsville; two sons, Patrick(Ashlee) Dine of Stinesville, and Jeremy (Haley) Dine of Bloomington; 3 step-children, Jason Shelton, Chad Jackson and Joe (Jessica) Jackson II all of Indianapolis. two sisters, Lou Summers (Travis) of Morgantown and Lisa Daniel of Trafalgar, four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Dine and two brothers, Kenneth and Donald Dine.
