John V. Braley, 85, of New Fairfield, husband of the late Dorothy (Wallach) Braley, died on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Braley was born in Bangor, Maine on May 24, 1936. He attended schools in Maine, was a U.S. Army veteran and a retiree of the Perkin Elmer Corporation.
A New Fairfield resident for the past fifty-two years, he was a congregant of the United Jewish Center of Danbury.
He enjoyed woodworking and metal crafts as well as nature.
Surviving is his daughter, Jennifer Braley (Ron Swift), a son Waid Braley and his wife Kimberly, four grandchildren, Tammy, Tiffany, Justin and Aaron. Great grandchildren also survive.
He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Robert and Jessica.
