He was born November 5, 1927, in Chicago, IL to the late John and Mary Rosa.
John retired from the University of Chicago as a tradesman who worked with upholstery and draperies.
He is survived by sons: Michael John Rosa of Hudson, FL and Mark (Melinda) Rosa of Pendleton; grandchildren: Jonas and Katie Rosa also of Pendleton.
John was preceded in passing by his wife Darrilyn Delores Rosa and brother Matt Rosa.
