John Thomas Hays, 75, of Ivor, VA passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023. He was the son of the late Thomas Warren Hays and Hazel Marie Keener Hays. He was preceded in death by his wife Debbie Corbitt Warren Hays.John was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the Newport News shipyard in 2016 as a crane operator.He is survived by his stepdaughter Tammy Warren Fuller and husband Wilbur; sister, Larue Hayes; brother, David Hays; special friends, Sheila and Ronnie Chittum; and his loving dog companion Mollie.The family would like to thank Nans Pointe Rehab and Nursing, AGC Hospice and his special aide Donna for his care over the last few months.
