John Thomas Hartman, 41, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on February 22, 1972 in Frankfurt, Germany, and resided most of his life in Anderson. John graduated from Madison Heights High School and attended Ball State University. He had worked as a customer service representative for Verizon Wireless for three years. John was a life time member of the Pendleton Baptist Church; John also was a member of the show choir and band at Madison Heights High School, and in the 90’s, was a member of several bands which included his singing in the White Buffalo Band.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Joan LaRose Hartman of Anderson; son, Joshua Hartman of Anderson; step-daughters, Sara Gray of Anderson, and Tricia Davis of Anderson; brother, Jeffrey Hartman of Boston, MA; sister, Peggy Hartman of Anderson; special nieces, Mia and Hailey Speer of Anderson, and Tori Bishop of Anderson. A host of many special friends also survive which includes his former wife and her husband, Carol and James Davis.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an aunt, Mary Kugel.
