And Elsie Mae Messick Stafford, Sr. but had resided in Boerne, Texas the last 33 years. John was retired from the U.S. Air Force and B.I.S.D. and also a Veteran of the Korean and Viet Nam was a member of Texas Lodge #8 in San Antonio, a Life member of the Boerne Turn Verein and a member of the United Methodist Church in Flintstone, is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Jane Friend Stafford; daughter Jacqueline (Jackie) Batis and her husband Brent of Austin, Texas; Sisters Martha Baker and Floellen Persons and her husband Al.
