John Snyder, Jr. of Phoenix AZ, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2015, at Sherman House Hospice Care, with his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara, by his side.
John was born in Cumberland, Maryland, on October 10, 1934, to John K. Snyder, Sr., and Jane Lucas Snyder.
He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1953 and remained a true patriot throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, daughters, Lynn (Col Kenneth Konwin, USAF (Ret) Konwin, Mary Lou (Jeff) Dorsey, son, John K. Snyder, III, and stepsons, Jeffrey (Susan) Leaf, Brian (Meg) Leaf, sister, Jean Donohue and his twin sister Ada Lu (Jim) McCord. He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Gail Lucas. John is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
