John Sisneros, age 84, our beloved father passed away on the Feast of Saint John Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Born Juan Reynaldo Sisneros to Elisa Felix and Carlos Newman Sisneros on the Feast of Saint Stephen, December 26, 1932. John was baptized and confirmed on the Feast of Saint Joseph, 1933 and named after his great-grandfather Juan Reynaldo Madrid. John was blessed to marry Beatrice Ida Aragon on the Feast of Saint Therese, October 3, 1953 and they were happily married for 59 years.
John and Beatrice were blessed and are survived by their nine children, John (Long Beach, CA), Joseph (Scottsdale, AZ), Phillip and wife, Jeanne (Memphis, TN), Lisa Brow and husband, Phillip (Albuquerque, NM), Andrew (Albuquerque, NM), Margaret (Seattle, WA), Paul (Albuquerque, NM), James, and Christine and husband, Matt (Seattle, WA); grandchildren, Daniel and his wife, Sarah, Christopher and his fiancée, Abby, and Timothy Sisneros, Jared Brow, Helen, Victor and Wesley Landon and Natalie and Audrey Senft; siblings, Joey and Lewis Sisneros and Dolores Benavidez.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice; his parents; step-father, Joe C. Vialpando; brother, Henry; brother-in-law, Robert Benavidez; and sister-in-law, Virginia Sisneros.
John was a dedicated husband and father, wanting only the best for his family. He had an incredible work ethic, sacrificing to send his children to Parochial schools. He retired from Sandia National Labs.
