John came to America in 1960 and worked as a diesel mechanic and service manager. He owned and operated Seidl Diesel for 20 years. John was shop foreman for Sweatt Construction for 8 years.
John loved auto racing, motorcycles, fishing, hunting and most of all his family.
His wife Ida Seidl preceded him in death on February 23, 2017. He leaves behind four sons, Robert Seidl of Germany, Pete Seidl, Albert Seidl, and Frank Seidl all of Hobbs, NM, two daughters, Monika Seidl of Hobbs, NM and Sylvia Beal of Midland, TX, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great- grandchildren.
