John C. Seidl, 79, passed away on March 29, 2017 at Georgian Garden Nursing Home in Potosi, MO.
John was born January 24, 1938 in Escanaba, MI the son of the late John W. and Nettie (Dean) Seidl. He was raised in Escanaba and he was a 1957 graduate of Escanaba High School.
John worked at Peterson Furniture Store through the last 4 years of High School. In 1958 he worked on the Ore Boats and in 1960 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was honorably discharged in 1962.
John was united in marriage to Lela Joy Johnson on November 28, 1963 in St. Louis, MO. He worked for Southwest Bell, was an equipment installer for Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent Technology. He retired in 1998.
John was a life member of the D.A.V. #24 and American Legion.
John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lela Joy of Desoto, MO.
