John S. Wieczorek, 93, of Newington, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Newington Healthcare Center. He was the beloved husband of Marion (Rapacka) Wieczorek. Born and raised in New Britain, son of the late Stanislaw and Rozalia (Sobiech) Wieczorek, he was a Newington resident since 1950 and a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. John retired from the Connecticut Tool Company in New Britain and was a member of the Oaks Club. A loving and devoted father and grandfather, he leaves his son Jack A. Wieczorek of Newington, and three grandchildren. He also leaves his brother Joseph Wieczorek and his wife Pauline of Baltimore, MD, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Karin M. Martin, his brother Frank Wieczorek, and his three sisters Stella Mitchell, Helen Tantanski and Rose Dobrowolski.
