John R. Harris, Jr., 70, died suddenly on Monday, January 6, 2020 at his residence in Dunnellon. He was born on September 24, 1949 in Mt. Holly, NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents, John R. Harris, Sr. and Ann Catherine Pierznik and his brother, Jerome Harris.
He leaves behind his sisters, Marilyn A. Burleigh, Dunnellon, FL and Annette White, Burlington, NJ; his best friend, Nina Harris, Dunnellon, FL and several nieces and nephews.
John moved to Dunnellon in 2006 after retiring as a Project Manager for a construction company in New Jersey. During his retirement John decided to go back to work part-time for Walmart in Dunnellon as a Maintenance Associate. Besides working John enjoyed cooking, riding his Harley Davidson, fishing with his dad and he loved his pets.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
