John R. Nemeth, 79, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in Silverbrook Manor, Niles, Michigan. John was born on July 1, 1934 in South Bend to John L. and Vera H. (Walkowski) Nemeth and was a lifelong resident. He had been employed with A.M. General for 32 years. On January 4, 1958, in St. Stanislaus Church, he married Vala L. Frank, who preceded him in death on December 6, 1990. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald, Michael, and an infant brother Ralph. John is survived by his daughter Lynn (Bobby) Smith of Niles, Michigan; his son, Jeffery (Susan) Nemeth of South Bend, Indiana; five grandchildren Kevin M. Nemeth, Andrew J. Nemeth, Ryan S. Nemeth, Destiney N. Smith and Daniel R. Smith.
