On Friday, January 2, 2015, John was called to his eternal home by his Lord and Savior. John was born May 19, 1933 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Jacob and Adriana DeWolf Klok and was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area.
He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army and worked for the Upjohn Company as an architect for 29 years, before retiring. On September 16, 1955, he married Nancy Rhem, who survives. John is also survived by their children, Kevin Suzanne Klok of Holland, Mark Anne Klok of Kalamazoo and Lynn Jim Eickhoff of Cincinnati, OH; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Ken Kathy Klok of Parchment; nieces and nephews.
