John R. Hagerman Sr., 79, of Anderson, passed away December 30, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 23, 1933 in Jolo , West Virginia and resided most of his life in Anderson.
John retired from the city of Anderson, working for Anderson Power and Light. John previously worked at Nicholson File in Anderson. He enjoyed talking on his CB radio and was known as “Pipe Smoker” to many of his beloved friends.
John is survived by his wife, Rosemary Cleghorn Hagerman of Anderson, IN, children; Michelle Paul Boner of Anderson, IN, Lydia Kirby Hollins of VA, Sabrina Rick Pierce of Anderson, John Vicki Hagerman Jr. of Lapel, Belinda Bobby Trahan of Anderson, Pam Jeff Trent of Elwood, Ted Becky Reeves of Anderson and a brother Shelby Alta Hagerman of KY.
John is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, sister in-law Phyllis Hagerman, and special friends Gary and Rosemary Reagan.
He was preceded in death by his father; Charlie Hagerman, his mother Cosby Hagerman, and eight brothers and sisters.
