John Richard “Dick” Styck, Sr., age 87, passed away in St. Cloud, Florida on December 25, 2016, after a short illness. Dick was born on October 24, 1929, the son of Percy M. and Ruth (Milligan) Styck.
On September 30, 1950, in Morocco, Indiana Dick married Kathaleen Watt. Dick was a lifetime farmer in Newton County, Indiana, and retired to the Rensselaer area and St. Cloud, Florida. He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joann Watt. Dick is survived by his loving family, wife, Kathaleen, three daughters, Jean (husband Terry) Lafoon, Connie (husband Russ) Davis, and Linda Miller, one son, John R. Styck, Jr., ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Rita (husband Lou) Bernard and Flora “Flo” Niesen and a brother, Percy (wife Fran) Styck.
