Mr. John L. Pittman of Tampa, FL passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Mr. John L. Pittman was a native of Tampa, FL and a resident of Tampa for 69 years.  He graduated from Blake High School, “Class of 1963” and was a member of Mt.

He was born on December 19, 1945.  Mr. Pittman worked for Habana Health Care Center where he later retired.  He also worked as a Bartender.  He loved his wife, children and family.  “He said what he meant and meant what he said.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, father, Willie D. Pittman, Sr. and mother, Roselle Jackson Pittman; brothers, Dennis Pittman, Jessie Pittman, Willie Pittman, Jr., and Leroy Pittman; sisters, Christine Pittman, Nannie Mae Jones, and Dorothy Pittman.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  wife, Deborah Pittman; two daughters, Tonita Mutcherson (Sammie) and Donna Scott; three stepdaughters, Rhonda Jean (Louis), Vikki Jackson, and LaTanya Stacey (Johnny); three sons, John Pittman, Jr., Eric Frazier, and Donuette Pittman; stepson, Darrell Pilcher; grandchildren, Koriday Green, Johanna Aydelotte, Tishanbrea Chisom (Chris), Givante Pittman, Tasha Pittman, Tia Pittman, Chequayea Pittman, Dontavius Pittman, Samari Mutcherson, Christian Pittman, and Destiny Pittman; 19 great grandchildren; loving sister, Mildred Johnson; “like a brother”, Marvin Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends and devoted friend, Ethel Scott.
