John P. Burnos, Jr. of Niceville, Florida departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in Destin, Florida, at the age of 84. John was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 14, 1937, to John P. and Flora Alice (Latimer) Burnos, Sr. John graduated from Nevada High School in Nevada, Missouri following graduation John attended Oglethorpe University for a year then entered the USAF April 23, 1958, and retired April 30, 1984.
John is survived by his sister Mary Alice Seevers of Indep. MO. Brother Daniel Eugene Burnos (Janet) of Mesquite, NV., brother Robert Dean Burnos (Cynthia) of Raytown, MO., sister Blanche Vera Ruby of Montpelier, VT., sister Laneta Carol Krouse (Michael) of Warsaw, MO., brother David Lee Burnos (Linda) of Indep, MO., and a host of nieces and nephews. Stepchildren David Belle and Ann Jefferson.
John was preceded in death by his father John P. Burnos, Sr.
