John P. Pramik, 99, of Macungie, formerly of Allentown, died on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Lehigh Center. He was the husband of the late Mildred (Reinert) and the late Perma (Lambert) Pramik.

Born in Fullerton, he was the son of the late Matthew and Rose (Biss) Pramik.

John served his country honorably with the U.S. Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Fullerton American Legion.

He worked at the former L.F. Grammes Lehigh Valley Transit for ten years driving the trolley and bus for 29 years before retiring. After retiring, he became known as “Mister Fix It” by his neighbors.

Surviving: son, Matthew and his wife Linda of Emmaus; two grandchildren; sisters, Margaret McHugh and Rose Tauber; brother, William.
