John P. Hyduk, 89, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 3:55 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2005, in Memorial Hospital. John was born on May 2, 1916, in DuBois, PA, to Michael and Angela (Licatowich) Hyduk. He retired in 1981 from Wirekraft in Rolling Prairie, IN. He had also worked for the former Studebaker Corporation, and had spent many summer months during the 1960s working at the South Bend Country Club. On May 30, 1945, in St. Stanislaus Church, he married Bernice M. Kominkiewicz, who preceded him in death on March 26, 1999. Also preceding him in death were four sisters, Lillian Skandis, Marce Yesh, Ann Mikolajczak, and Helen Dombrowski; and four brothers, Mike, Joe, Walt, and Charles Hyduk. Survivors include his daughter, Anne Hyduk of South Bend, IN; his son, Terry Hyduk of South Bend, IN; several nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law.
