Anderson – John N. Crowthers, 75, Anderson, died May 10, 2002 at Methodist Hosptial-Indianapolis after Sudden Illness. He was born September 3, 1926 in Cicero, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana.
He lived in Terre Haute and Warner Robins, Georgia before moving to Anderson 15 years ago. He retired from Tumpane Company of Georgia in 1978 after 22 years of service. He graduated from Jackson Central High School in Cicero. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years whom he married December 23, 1945 in Shidler, Indiana: Pat Lee Crowthers. One Son: Randy L. & wife Dolores Crowthers of Chester, Virginia. One Daughter: Cheryl Crowthers of Muncie. One Sister: Susannah J. Hildreth of Yorktown. Four Grandsons: Mike Patrick; Luke Crowthers, David Craib and John Craib. Several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred & Maude Slack Crowthers. One Brother: Floyd R. Crowthers. Two Sisters: Ida May Muterspaugh and Sara Trout. T
