John David Morris, 79, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away February 4, 2018, at his home.
John was born February 27, 1938, in Basalt, Idaho, to John Robert Morris and Gertrude Almina Kotter Morris. He grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from Firth High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal. He attended Utah State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
On October 20, 1967, he married Sandy Anselmo Morris in Idaho Falls. John and Sandy were blessed with five children: Lance, Angey, Ryan, Derek, and Rainie. They made their home in Idaho Falls where John worked as a Human Resources Administrator for Bechtel Corporation. After retirement, he also worked as a Hertz Driver.
