John Michael Ricigliano, age 93, of Holiday City South section of Berkeley Township passed away peacefully at home on March 2nd. John was born in Hoboken, NJ, and grew up in Jersey City. He attended Dickinson High School and the New York Institute of Technology.
He retired as Supervising Electrical Designer from On Board Chemical Corporation in May, 1990. He raised his large family in Union City, where he was a longtime member of St. Joseph & Michael’s RC Church and an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus, Carroll Council #137. More recently, he was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township. John was an avid gardener, enjoyed summers down the Jersey shore, winters cruising the islands and spending quality time with family and friends.
John was predeceased in 2014 by Alice (nee Texido), his beloved wife of 65 years; and was the devoted father of Deborah, John Michael and his wife Karen, Jill Connors, David and his wife Flo, Joanne Romano and her husband Bob, Wayne and his wife Gina, Leslie Tkachuk and her husband Chuck, and Cheryl. He was the dear brother of the late Mildred Tortorella, Bill Ricigliano, Rose DeMarinis, Agnes Kelly, Daniel Ricigliano, Gemma Blumetti and Eleanor Navarchi and; the loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and the loving uncle of many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
