John McMillan, 62, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at DHR Hospital in Edinburg, TX.
He was born January 27, 1958 in Centralia, the son of Robert F. McMillan and Mary (Stover) McMillan. He married Michele Heard on March 20, 1981 in Centralia and she survives in Central City.
In addition to his wife of 39 years, Michele McMillan of Central City, he is also survived by his children: John McMillan and wife Kendra of Central City, Chele McMillan and Eric Brown of Woodlawn, Ginny McMillan and fiancé William Smith of Centralia, and Josh and Andrea, from a previous marriage; two grandchildren: Mabry McMillan and McKenna Vandeveer both of Central City; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bobby Branch and wife Ruth Ann of Centralia, Deprecia Lee of Mississippi, Lyndon Heard and wife Patti of Centralia, Jada Wright and husband Clay of Cypress, and John Johnson of Centralia; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert F. and Mary McMillan; a brother: Robert T. McMillan, a sister-in-law: Amber Johnson, and special friend: Jaden Krauss.
John worked at Kaskaskia Workshop as a production manager for 35 years. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home. John loved cooking and grilling for his family. He enjoyed watching sports and he was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, New Orleans Saints, and the L.A. Lakers. John loved spending time with his family and friends.
