Father of Sean Sullivan of West Haven, brother of Kathleen Duenkel of North Branford, Patricia Romano of Stratford, Mary Colandrea of West Haven, and Timothy Sullivan of FL. John is also survived by his beloved cat Niko. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Sullivan and his dog Sophie. John was an Ironworker for Local 424 for 50 years, retiring in 1990 and was a US Army Veteran. Besides his family and animals, John had a love for his music and his local union.
