John M. Mizunaga, 56, of Brighton, passed away on August 6, 2012. He was born December 2, 1955 in Denver, CO to Charles and Frances (Mizushima) Mizunaga. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1974 and later married Jodi Shibao on September 22, 1979 in Denver.
John was a lifetime resident of Brighton and worked for Frontier Business Solutions for the last few years. He loved to play golf and enjoyed bowling, cooking and taking trips to Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Jodi of Brighton; twin-sister, Joyce Mizunaga of Aurora, sister, Yuki Kimura of Tujunga, CA; brother, Eddie (Anita) Mizunaga of Ventura, CA; brother-in-law, Randy Matsushima of Centennial and numerous nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by both of his parents; sister, Karen (Eiko) Matsushima in 2008 and one niece, Tiffany Kimura.
