John M. Edwards age 78 of Ashland, passed away Monday September 12, 2011 at the Crystal Care Nursing Home.
Born in Fargo North Dakota on July 1, 1933 the son of Neil and Ruth (Spaetzel) he was an Ashland Resident for the past two and a half years, he was originally from LaGrange Ohio. Mr. Edwards retired from the B.F. Goodrich Tire Company where he worked with Polymers. Mr. Edwards was also a veteran of the United States Army and served his contry during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are two brothers and sisters in law, Neil and Mary Edwards of Ashland and Donovan and Faye Edwards of St. Louis Park Minnesota.
Mr. Edwards is preceded in death by his parents.
